Students who successfully complete this course package will be awarded the EAL Level 2 Certificate for Domestic Electrical Installers (including Part P) qualification.
Benefits of taking this course
It’s for those in the allied trades who want to carry out domestic electrical work*, be certified as a ‘competent domestic installer’ and be registered with the Applicable Building Regulations (Part P) Competent Persons Scheme. You’ll be able to issue an Electrical Installation Certificate that complies with Building Regulations Requirements.
* But you will not be considered an electrician.
How it works
The course consists of all the theory modules which you can study at home, followed by 5 days of practical training and assessments. You’ll be sent all the theory units when you enrol. Prior to starting you may need to attend our 3-day ‘Basic Electrical Workshop’.
